Parent Handbook
The Brant Suzuki String School Handbook provides valuable information for parents and students. Please read it carefully. New students will have received a copy in their package; returning students can replace a lost copy for $2.00; let Virginia Little know if you need a replacement.
Children begin to learn to talk as soon as they are physically and psychologically ready to do so. Formal music lessons therefore should begin as soon as the child is physically and psychologically ready to start. Usually, this is at age three or four. However, children may start at any age. Often, older children progress more quickly through the repertoire.
Each student will receive a 1/2-hour private lesson each week, and a one hour group lesson every other week. Group classes are held on Thursday either at 4:30 PM or at 5:30 PM at Wesley United Church.
